I haven't uploaded much pony art - be it requests or Alter Ego - and I want to apologize for that. I know all of you have been waiting patiently - or sometimes impatiently - for some kind of pony fix or another. I've just been depressed lately and in a bit of an artistic slump. Hopefully I can get over that within the next few days and start putting up more pony art for you guys.

Also, I'm heading to St. Louis, so no art for the next few days! Hopefully I can have a big upload on Saturday, but I can't guarantee things.

For the most part, I'm finished with high school (long story, don't ask further). This means more time to work on the requests that've piled up in my few weeks hiatus/absence/whatever, but there's something that I have to admit.

Requests are now closed.

Don't worry, for anyone who's made a request prior to this, I'll work on it when I can. However, it's become too much for me to bear; so requests are closed down, and now if you want something, it'll have to be a commission (unless you're a friend!)

But don't make anymore requests. Because I won't take them.

Yay, I get to head about four hours upstate just to be a pallbearer. So I'll be away from the internet (or at least dA) for the next few days. I'll try and upload page four of Alter Ego before I leave tomorrow, but I can't guarantee anything.

And I'll have some special dA uploads to do when I get back... :3

Well, for everyone who's gone through this before, you'll probably understand what I'm getting at. For those who haven't, you'll probably go through it eventually. The end of my mandatory, twelve-year public education. I'll be graduating high school.

Now, while I could just be lazing about (teehee) and waiting for the end of the school year to come, I am in an Advanced Placement art class. Meaning, I have a portfolio to put together to submit, and that will count for my grade. Most likely, none of the MLP:FiM stuff will get submitted (for obvious reasons).

There are two parts to the portfolio. One half of it (12 pieces, BTW) is completely random. Twelve pieces of no immediate relation, usually in a wide variety of mediums to show what you can accomplish. This part of the portfolio is done for me. It's the other part that worries me. The other twelve pieces must be thematically connected in some way. The only problem is I keep changing what the theme is. I can never decide. (Hmm, maybe that could be the theme? Indecision? Nah...)

So I'll be working on more traditional art for the next month or so, and not uploading much MLP stuff here. I'll try to update Alter Ego as much as possible as well as wrap up those requests and commissions I've been ignoring (^_^'), but I won't be here much for the next month or so.

Well, technically it's been in progress for a while, but physical, actual artwork is being worked on. Pages one and two are in current progress right now, and I'm working on some Chapter 2 and 3 pages at the same time.

The pages should be up in the next few days, depending on how fast inking goes. Also, debating on whether or not I should tone the pages. I'll run a small experiment to decide.
